Official Rules
No Purchase Required to Enter or Win

1. Eligibility: The buy.at Platinum Pass Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States (including the District of Columbia) and Canada (excluding Quebec) who are members of the buy.at affiliate network and are 18 years of age or older at time of entry. Employees of AOL LLC and its respective subsidiaries, affiliates, parent company, distributors, divisions and agencies, as well as the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings and children) and household members of each such employee are not eligible. All U.S., federal, state and local and Canadian federal, provincial, and municipal laws and regulations apply. Void in Quebec, Puerto Rico and where prohibited by law.
2. Sponsor: The Sweepstakes is sponsored by AOL LLC, 770 Broadway, New York, NY 10003 (“Sponsor”).
3. Agreement to Official Rules: Participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules. Winning a Prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.
4. Entry Period: The Sweepstakes begins at 12:00PM ET on August 9, 2009 and ends at 11:59PM ET on November 30, 2009 (the “Entry Period”).  Entries received prior to or after the Entry Period will be disqualified.
5. How to Enter: Go to www.buy.at and following the instructions to enter. Entrant will receive one (1) entry for an approved network application and one (1) entry for each sale/lead generated by the publisher.
6. Selection of Winners: On or about December 1, 2009, Sponsor will select the names of one (1) potential Grand Prize Winner, one (1) potential First Prize Winner, three (3) Second Prize Winners, two (2) Third Prize Winners and two (2) Fourth Prize Winners in a random drawing of all eligible entries received during the Entry Period. The odds of being selected as a potential winner depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Entry Period. Potential winners will be contacted via email and will be asked to provide their full name, age and mailing address within a specified time period. If a potential winner does not respond within the timeframe stated in the notification email, the Sponsor may select an alternate potential winner in his/her place at random from all entries received during the Entry Period.
7. Notification of Potential Winners: An Entrant who is notified that their entry was selected in the random drawing is a Potential Winner. A Potential Winner must comply with all terms and conditions of these Official Rules, and winning is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements. In the event the potential winner of any prize is a Canadian resident, he/she will be required to correctly answer a time-limited mathematical question to be administered by email/mail to receive the prize.
8. Requirements of the Potential Winners: Except where prohibited, the potential winners may be required to complete and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release (the "Affidavit/Release") within seven (7) days of being notified. If a potential winner fails to sign and return the Affidavit/Release within the required time period, an alternate entrant may be selected in his/her place in a random drawing of all entries received.
9. Prizes: One (1) Grand Prize Winner will receive a Platinum Pass to Affiliate Summit West 2010 in Las Vegas (January 17-19, 2010) and a three (3) night hotel stay at the Rio Hotel (standard room/double occupancy). Transportation to Las Vegas is NOT included in the prize and shall be the sole responsibility of the Grand Prize Winner. Approximate Retail Value (ARV) of Grand Prize: $1,806. One (1) First Prize Winner will receive a $100 Apple Vacations Gift Card (subject to issuer’s terms and conditions (ARV: $100). Three (3) Second Prize Winners will each receive a signed Jim Cramer book and Red Bull toy (ARV: $90). Two (2) Third Prize Winners will each receive a $50 Ticketmaster gift card (subject to issuer’s terms and conditions) (ARV: $50). Two (2) Fourth Prize Winners will each receive a space bag (ARV: $30).
   
   Prizes are non-transferable and no substitutions are permitted. Specifics of prizes are in Sponsor’s sole discretion. No cash or other substitution may be made, except by Sponsor, who reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute a prize with another prize or equal or greater value in the event that a prize or portion of prize is unavailable. The winners are responsible for any taxes and fees associated with receipt or use of a prize.
10. Publicity: Except where prohibited by law, participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes Winner’s consent to Sponsor’s use of Winner’s name, likeness, picture, portrait, voice, opinions, biographical information and state of residence for promotional, publicity or advertising purposes worldwide in any media and on the World Wide Web, in perpetuity, without further payment, consideration, review or consent.
11. General Conditions: Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, terminate, suspend and/or modify the Sweepstakes if any fraud or other problem corrupts the administration, security, or proper play of the Sweepstakes, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. In such event, Sponsor reserves the right to award the prizes at random from among the eligible entries received up to the time of the impairment. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual they find to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
12. Release: Winner agrees that Sponsor and its respective partners, sponsors, agencies, officers, directors, employees, attorneys, affiliates and subsidiaries, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents will have no liability whatsoever, and will be held harmless by Winner, for any liability for injuries, losses or damage (including reasonable attorneys fees) of any kind, including death, arising from or in connection with this Sweepstakes or the Prize. By entering, participants acknowledge that Sponsor has not made any warranty, representation or guarantee, expressed or implied, in fact or in law, in connection with the Sweepstakes or the Prize.
13. Limitations of Liability: Sponsor is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants, printing errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of submissions in the Sweepstakes.
14. Disputes: Except where prohibited, all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the entrant and Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the Commonwealth of Virginia, or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the Commonwealth of Virginia.
15. Sweepstakes Results: Sweepstakes results may be obtained by sending a -addressed, stamped envelope to Buy.at Winner’s List, Attn: A. Ely, 1020 Hull Street, Baltimore, MD 21230. Requests must be received by December 15, 2009.
